Giving

Since 1923, Lifesteps has been helping improve the lives of members of our community and could not do so without the generous support of community members and businesses. Through donations and sponsorships to the Lifesteps Family Caring Fund vital programs and services continue to be provided.

There are several ways to support the children, adults and seniors that Lifesteps serves through charitable giving.

Online – Fast, easy and secure way to donate.

By Mail – Please download a donation form, make check payable to the Lifesteps Family Caring Fund and mail to:

Corporate Giving – Corporate donations can be made through sponsorships, cash gifts, matching gifts and in-kind donations in support of Lifesteps.  As an approved recipient of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC), Lifesteps utilizes EITC donations to support preschool scholarships and educational improvement activities for students with special needs in Lifesteps Transition program. Click here for more information about the EITC program.

Workplace Giving –  workplace donations can be given through United Way, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), or the Pennsylvania State Employee Combined Appeal.

Employee Giving Program – Many corporations match employee donations to non-profit organizations, like Lifesteps, through an employee giving program. Some companies also recognize staff that volunteer with non-profits through grants supporting the Agency mission.

Gifts in Honor or Memory – A donation in memory of a loved one is a tribute and thoughtful way to recognize someone who has made a difference in your life or the life of others.  Donations can be made in memory of a family member, friend, client of Lifesteps or colleague. Honorary gifts are a wonderful way to celebrate someone in your life and a special event, such as a birthday or anniversary, by giving to those in need.

Leave a Legacy – Planned giving provides several ways to support the Agency including bequests, IRA charitable rollover, stocks and bonds, beneficiary designated gifts, charitable gift annuity, real estate and more.
