Transitioning a Child to Kindergarten
Transitioning a child into kindergarten can be stressful for the child and family unless properly planned. Early kindergarten registration can help families make a smooth transition to school. In some communities, the registration process begins as early as December the year prior to the start of school. Many preschool and kindergarten programs also hold events to begin helping families become familiar with the people, places, and things they will encounter in kindergarten.
