FREE Developmental Screening
for your Child!

Free Online Screenings Available
For over 35 years, Lifesteps Child Check program has been providing FREE developmental and/or autism screenings to thousands of families each year. Child Check screenings are designed for children age birth to five to assist families in recognizing early warning signs of developmental delays. In addition to Lifesteps face-to-face screenings, the Agency is now offering a free confidential online screening that utilizes the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) developmental screening tool. This online screening assists with identifying behavioral milestones for each child in the areas of social and emotional development.
As part of the online screening, parents/guardians are asked to answer questions about activities their child can and cannot do. The questionnaire takes approximately 10-15 minutes and includes questions about a child’s communication, gross motor, fine motor, and problem solving ability.
Results are reviewed by a Lifesteps Developmental Screener who provides developmental resources to assist with the child’s growth and development. To call for an appointment or questions about Lifesteps Free Child Check screenings contact the Child Check Team at 724-283-1010 ext. 318.
