COVID-19

A Message From…

KAREN SUE OWENS, PRESIDENT AND CEO

Over 97 years ago Lifesteps was founded by a group of committed citizens who sought to assist children suffering from polio. Today, we face a different health emergency…and we face it with the same mission to help and support those in need.

Lifesteps is committed to the health, safety and well-being of those we serve, staff and the community. Please know that our Organization is continually adapting to direction from state and national officials as updates are received.

During the COVID -19 pandemic, we are dedicated to continuing to serve by adapting to ongoing changes by Governor Wolf for the state of Pennsylvania. These are challenging times for our Nation, but together we can persevere during these unprecedented times. Thank you to our individuals, families, staff and supporters for your patience and understanding.

During this unprecedented time, Lifesteps will continue to provide updates as the Agency responds to COVID-19 pandemic.

At Lifesteps, the health, safety and well-being of those served and staff is the Agency’s number one priority. Lifestesps COVID-19 Response Team is meeting regularly to coordinate and adapt to changes associated with the pandemic. The following outlines several implemented precautions:
